The NEO Cast L rod socks are approx. 180 cm long and ideal for one-piece casting rods up to 2,30m in length. The width is 50mm at the bottom at the inlet and tapers to 25mm at the top.
As the abbreviation suggests, the NEO rod socks are made of light, stretchy and cushioning neoprene. For the somewhat more expensive and sensitive blanks in particular, there could perhaps be a little more protection, hence neoprene.
This protects the rod blanks and rod rings from damage and scratches. Even the finest rod tip does not slip through here.
When transporting in the car or boat, rods that have already been assembled can no longer get caught or damage each other.
The rod socks NEO Cast are available in two colors: black/black and black/blue and three lengths: 140cm, 160cm and 180cm.
We calculate approx. 40cm for the hand part, as far as the recommended rod length is concerned, 180cm sock plus 40cm hand part equals 220cm rod, there is of course some flexibility upwards, 230cm rods also fit of course.
