Tidiness in the fishing room: My experience report on the space-saving aluminum rod stand
Who hasn't been there? Over the years, you collect quite a lot of tackle while fishing. Rods in particular tend to gather dust in some corner of the basement or fishing room, get tangled up, or – in the worst case – sustain damage. I was facing exactly the same problem until I found the perfect solution a few years ago. Since then, one specific system has kept things absolutely organized for me.
Space miracle for up to 36 rods
The brilliant thing about this design is the extreme space savings. In my fishing room, I can easily store around 36 rods on a minimal footprint (2 rod stands :-)) – and completely flexibly with or without a mounted reel. Whether it’s a delicate, ultra-light perch rod, a powerful big-bait pike rod, a three-piece feeder rod, or a long carp rod: every model finds its fixed and secure place here.
Well-thought-out details that impress
Many off-the-shelf rod stands fail due to the varying lengths of the rod handles. This model is different:
- Height-adjustable holders: They can be adjusted in no time at all. This means even rods with extremely short handles stand rock-solid and secure.
- Protection through EVA material: The cutouts of the holders are lined with soft EVA foam. This material prevents scratches on the blank or damage to the guides if you have to put them away quickly.
- Indestructible aluminum alloy: The stand is made of robust aluminum. It has been in constant use with us for years now and shows no signs of wear or rust. An acquisition for a lifetime!
Assembly in a few minutes – without any tools
Another huge plus is the assembly. Anyone who doesn't like spending hours screwing things together or following complicated instructions will love this system. The parts are delivered largely pre-assembled. The entire stand is simply put together without tools. Unpack, assemble, organize rods – done.
My conclusion
For me, this aluminum rod stand has been the best investment in organizing my fishing room. It protects expensive tackle, makes perfect use of space, and lasts a lifetime.
Assembly (instructions included and self-explanatory)

Slide the front and rear base plates from above into the foot brackets and press the 4 clamps firmly in from above.
- Slide the 2 rod holders one after the other into the side rails from below and lock them in place. First the narrow part that sits at the top and then the wider one for the support at the bottom. There are 2 more wing screws for locking the bottom side rails, which you should insert at the end.
